Are you trying to decide on whether you can buy a pool this year? You are probably not alone with gas prices so high will pools be the one thing people won't buy? If they are smart and have done their homework they may find with the given choices out there that they can still afford a discount swimming pool. Numerous possibilities are available as far as price sizes and shapes.

When you buy an above ground pool you save on the expense of a pool. You do not have to excavate your yard like you do with other pools. These discount swimming pools come in all shapes, sizes, and prices. The other plus about above ground swimming pools is that if you change houses then you can tear down the pool and put it back up at the new house.

Kits are available for above ground pools that include everything you need including the pool. You can find, depending on where you get them, kits that go from a bargain of $349 to well over $4000. Do you know what size pool you are interested in? For about $1500 to $2700 you can locate a 15-foot round, which does include some accessories. Special items such as covers are extra. Want a larger pool then try a 27-foot round above ground pool that is a bit more expensive at $1800 to $4300 with some accessories also. Getting the pools put in for you can be extra depending on where you buy it.

There are some neat oval above ground pools too. One has the dimensions of 16' x 32'. The price on this one can be between $2700 and $4300. The prices always vary due to sales though. Also there are standard styles and premium styles. Take note that this shape pool may not work if your yard is not shaped right.

There are different ways to protect your pool with covers. One is the utility cover for winter its actual name is winter cover. It doesn't just keep trash and critters out of your pool it also keeps the water from freezing by insulating it. If you have young children you may want to get a safety cover it keeps them from falling in if they walk on it of course this does not take the place of watching your child.

If you have any trees in your yard you will get a lot of leaves in your pool. You do not want leaves or other debris in your pool. The best and fastest way not to have leaves in your pool constantly is to cover with leaf net to catch the leaves and other debris. You can even apply over your cover in the winter.

Some people like the ability to be able to move the above ground swimming pool when they move. Some people just want a pool for the tikes to play in. Others have teenagers to entertain with their pool. But when the kids go off to college mom may want the yard back for a flower garden. You can take the pool down and tuck it away. This makes the above ground pool extremely flexible and a truly handy discount swimming pool.

Sometimes you have to hire a company a company to come in a level out the area you are planning on putting the discount swimming pool. You may want to make sure to ask if they have to add any extra fill dirt sometimes it could cost a little bit more money. You must also check with your city to make sure you don't have any extra cost added. After you get all of that taken care you can then spend a great time in your new pool.
