When it comes to success, we all want more of it, right? We wish we had more time, more money, and more freedom to live the life we have always wanted. When it comes to success, we all want more of it, right? We wish we had more time, more money, and more freedom to live the life we have always wanted. While a small minority of people has found the right combination to unlock potential and achieve success, the majority of people struggle to meet the bare necessities.

While there is nothing genetically different between the wealthy and poor, there is a major difference in habits, mindset and belief systems. It is a fact that the wealthy and poor each have very different belief systems. Even if you are not aware of how your belief system affects your success, it does just as well.

Being successful isn't dependent on your background or your upbringing - instead, it's all about knowing how to implement the ideas which can lead to success. You need to get around the things which keep you from being successful so you can start from nothing and become a massive success.

The secret that the wealthy know that poor people do not is that to be successful, you have to have a deep commitment to your goals and your personal development - and be willing to do anything you have to in order to meet these goals. Financial independence isn't only about doing the right things; it's about thinking the right things as well.

Before you even take the first step, you have to decide where you want to go. Driving is a good analogy. Say that you are driving - obviously, you have a place you are starting from and you have a destination you want to arrive at. To get somewhere if you have never been before, you can use a map or GpS unit to get there.

Whatever your starting point, you can still make it to your destination because you'll know which way to go. It makes no difference if its only one mile or a thousand - if you keep going the right way, you'll get there sooner or later.

Life is about a lot more than just going through the necessary motions to keep body and soul together. You have far more potential than just working towards staying in that job you hate to pay the bills - you should also set goals for yourself and achieve them; working towards a life you look forward to getting out of bed to live each day.

Get out some paper and make a list of the things you really want out of life. The total number of goals you come up with doesn't matter - what does matter is that these goals have personal meaning to you. The more desire you have for these goals, the more powerful your drive will be to achieve them. If you've ever done something only to make someone else happy, then you know how much less fulfilling it is as opposed to achieving a goal which has your own desires behind it.

After you draw up this list, go back and find the three most important goals to you - these are the ones you desire the most strongly. Write down these three top goals and put them all over you home and carry one with you so that you will constantly be reminded of these goals.

After all, once you know where you are going, your mind can figure out a route to get you there.
