In the city of Sydney, there is a buying craze going on for new digital ready wide screen TVs and top of the line home theatre centers as Australia modernizes and the economy continues to soar. There is any number of companies who would love to sell you these pricey systems and they'll bend over backward to catch your eye and sell you the best system they can get their hands on. Don't be fooled! For starters, the systems offered by most retailers are identical in every respect other than brand name. There are only so many companies making these high end home theater systems, after all. None of these retailers have their own private, secret manufacturer who no one else knows about. Another thing, the sales commission structure on these home theatre systems often is a conflict of interest. The sales rep is forced to put his commission or bonus interest ahead of really getting you the best system that suits your needs and desires. But there's something else, they won't install it for you. They probably won't even care about the unique installation requirements of your home. They will sell you the most expensive system they can, or the system that management has told them they need to move the most of, without even asking you what your house set up is like, what your electrical system is like, what your reception system is like, or anything else. The systems which they will try to sell you are generally the most expensive and elaborate ones - these will also take the most effort to set up in your home, If a system is very complex, it must therefore have lots of great features, correct? This is the assumption which sales staff is hoping you will make when looking at home theater systems. It will present you with a lit of challenge, to say nothing of frustration if you are intending to try setting up one of these systems yourself. All of those wires, all of those components, each of which must be precisely set up and fine tuned. Be sure to pack a lunch and some aspirin as you wrangle with your new home theater system. Worse yet, if you damage something during this process, the warranty likely won't even cover it. At best, you may get a referral to a service provider from the retailer. This service provider will come out to your home and install the home theater system for you - for a hefty price. This fee is of course not included in the price of the system itself. Even worse, if the service provider makes some kind of error in setup, the retailer will be of no help to you. And if the retailer has sold you a system which does not work for your home, the service provider will similarly be of no help to you and you will simply have lost time and money - a lot of money. You need to go to the home theatre electronics store as an informed consumer so that you don't waste tremendous amounts of time and money while losing sleep and giving yourself migraines. An independent electronics consultant can be of great help to you here - they will work with you to figure out what you want in a home theater system and how this will integrate into your home. They will then install the system for you and their service is backed by a guarantee. Don't even consider buying a home theatre entertainment system until you have met with one of these consultants.
