The reason for owning a car is for portability, to get around in both your social life and your work. Your car is a convenience, its something individuals often personalize with a great hi-fi system, fancy wheels and special seats, thieves love this. The down side is animals like raccoons could also trigger the lights to. If you use your car for work you may find the company you work for has secure parking facility's, which is great. On the hand if you use public transport like bus or train, you will leave your car at home, and this is when your garage security should pay off. A two way auto security system alerts you when your vehicle is under threat in some way. However, an immobilizer will not protect your cars content or against damage. So getting security experts to advise you on which of the automotive security systems is best for your needs would be the way to go.
